I think the long quiesence of this news group is due to the fact that the suicidals quit talking about it and did it (put their poison where their mouth is, to abuse a phrase). Perhaps living people just get bored with it and this is in fact a news group for the Dead (grateful or otherwise). Then again, I've known quite a few dead people who seem quite bored with this newsgroup. They never seem to read it. If you thought this was supposed to be funny, then you're sick. If I thought this was a joke I would have put it in net.jokes. And if I thought I was confused, I'd post to net.confused. Perhaps it's just that there are only four and a half months left until Christmas. Who knows what shadows lurk in the evil of hearts?
