There was a story in Chicago during the past week of a woman who was saved from her seventh floor window. Her robe caught on the window frame when she tried to jump. After slitting her throat. And her wrists. And taking an overdose of sleeping pills. And drinking ammonia. At last report, she was listed in "stable" condition.

The woman who was saved by the catching of her robe on the window frame certainly should get some sort of award for trying. Just think what she could have done with a hand gun, too. Any other nominees out there? "Remember, suicide may be the funniest thing you ever do." ---> Chuck A DeGaul <---

I would like to know why the woman in Chicago jumped from the 7th floor. It seems she really didn't want to do herself in but jumping would have blown her cover. It seems to me that from what I read, more suicides are botched by women than men. Wonder why? Oh well, just rambling.
