I just thought I'd let everyone know I'm alive and if not well, at least much better. That was one of the worst times I've ever had, and it had been building for some time. I didn't sleep well that night, and I came into work at 6:00 a.m. Friday. I worked until 10:00, when people started to show up, then left and started installing V7 on a pdp 11/34 at a nearby university. I left there and came back to work at about 3:30, and worked until 7:00. Saturday I continued working at the university, and went to my parent's at 5:00. Sunday I worked on a consulting contract I've been trying to finish. Monday I brought in a 16" cookie with celebrating the fact that one of my co-workers had left on a business trip. She had been threatening to have a "mike's not here" party for some time, and this was my first chance to get back at her. Tuesday I left on a business trip and didn't come back until Friday night. That is why I wasn't able to answer all the messages until now. I was most of the way out of my depression by Monday night, and re-reading what I wrote more than a week earlier surprised me a little. Thank you all for your support and advice, some of which is even applicable. I have read all 2500 lines in my mailbox, and I'm sorry I can't respond to each of you individually. Mike Mitchell
