Has anyone used vi (Version 3.7, 10/31/81) on a UNIX 5.0 system with the Teletype 4424 or 4426 terminal? There seems to be a problem with "j" or down 1 line function. The termcap file definition for highlighting and normal display is wrong, and only 23 lines are used when 24 are available. I shall post a correct termcap for the 4424 when I find out what is wrong with the newline in vi. The problem I have encountered does not seem to depend on which termcap file I am using.
