This is a termcap entry I cooked up for the purpose of using
my Morrow MDS 3 microcomputer as a terminal on our PDP-11/44 running
Unix ver. 7 w/ Berkeley enhancements. It works fine for vi &
rogue, the only tests I know of insertion/deletion capabilities &
full screen operation. Since I have a 1200 baud modem, to use just
the Morrow 50 terminal directly connected to the modem I use the
local escape sequence "LCL ESC{3000" which = 1200 baud, 1 stop, no
parity, 8 data bits. Even though the Morrow 50 supports an insert
mode, it is here unused because (apparently) vi uses both ic & bi/ei,
which results in extra spaces being displayed on the screen, though
they are not entered in the document.
This should be considered as a starting point, rather than a
completed , elegant termcap.
Happy Hacking!
