About a month ago I sent a request to net.info-terms for any information on
graphics packages available for VT125's. Several people expressed interest
in the results, but as far as information, I got very little.
The only response I received with any information was from ian@utcsstat
who mentioned that the VT125 is a b&w subset of the GIGI and that the
Spring 83 USENIX tape has an implementation of LOGO with turtle graphics
that will run on the GIGI.
I have heard from various sources that there is a fair amount of
software for VMS that will run on the GIGI (and hence maybe a VT125),
but I don't know of anything in particular. Anyway, our use will be on
UNIX(tm) systems and the main languages being used will be FORTRAN,
PASCAL, LISP, and C. So it looks like we will have to develop our own
graphics packages.
