I am considering getting one of the newer models from Teleray. I liked the 1061 terminals, but Teleray is no longer making them. One of their newer models, the 7, can be programmed to emulate a wide variety of other terminals. I am considering using the model 7 to emulate a vt100 and the 1061. I would be interested in hearing from anyone who has used the model 7 or other newer teleray models (100, 16). Does a model 7 require more padding than the vt100 or 1061 on long operations? Are these terminals quiet or do they make an audible high pitched noise like the vt100? Are there any other problems? Thanks, Steve German
