Below is the collection of termcap entries for the Wyse 50 that I received from various people. I have not tried any of them (and will not, as I bought a Wyse 75 instead), but I am passing them on as a public service. /Jim uucp: ucbvax!larus arpanet: larus@berkeley -------------------- Date: Sat, 6 Oct 84 11:17:33 pdt From: sun!sundial!bac@BERKELEY (Bruce Clarke) Return-Path: <bac@sundial> Message-Id: <8410061817.AA06741@sundial.sun.uucp> To: sun!@ucbvax.uucp.info-terms.BERKELEY Subject: News request for Wyse 50 Entry I have been using the following entry with reasonably good success. It seems to work well for sysline on a Wyse-50 in W50 mode. I have not had a chance to try it out on EMACS. Hope it helps. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- # # Wyse 50. One of the users on this campus sent me this termcap entry. He seems to like the terminals very much. I had a chance to play with one for a few hours and seems to be a good terminal. The user did mention that out of the 6 terminals he purchased, one had too much key bounce which caused the repeating of characters. Wyse fixed the problem on request. I don't know much of their durability, but seem well constructed. This termcap is used on our VAX 750 running 4.2BSD. I don't think the user is running sysline, though the entries that refer to the status line (ds, es, fs, hs, and ts) seem to be there.
