I would appreciate it if someone would send me a vt240 termcap. Thankyou. -- from the philosophical outlook of: Alex S. Fuss {philabs, esquire, cucard, ihnp4}!aecom!alex

As I understand it, the vt240 emulates a vt100 or a vt52, with the
addition of some goodies. I'm not real familiar with dec's terminals,
but we just use the vt100 termcap entry for our vt240's. I think this
does everything it needs to, but maybe I'm missing out on something
by telling it I'm a vt100, not a vt240.

This is what we are using for vt240's. (Our vt220 and vt131 termcaps are identical except for the name.) ################ The VT240 ################ d8|VT240|vt240|vt-240|pt240|pt-240|dec vt240:\ :is=\E>\E[?4l\E[?5l\E[?7h\E[?3l\E[?8h:dc=\E[1P:\ :dl=10\E[1M:al=10\E[1L:im=\E[4h:ei=\E[4l:tc=vt100 Note that this is for a vt240 running in vt100 mode. -- Chip Rosenthal, Intel/Santa Clara {cbosgd,idi,intelca,icalqa,kremvax,qubix,ucscc} ! {t4test,t12tst} ! {chip,news}
