It would seem that with the plethora of ANSI terminals on the
marketplace that there might be some software within the public or
private domain which deals with implementing or testing such a
terminal. In particular, I am interested in any software packages
which have been written to perform either of the following:
1) Test the compatibility and/or functionality of an existing terminal
against the ANSI standard or another de-facto standard terminal (such as
vt220, etc).
2) Implement common terminal functions (such as parsing, screen movements,
etc) either as part of an actual terminal development, or as an
terminal emulation package for a PC or workstation.
Any leads regarding the existence and availability of such packages would be
greatly appreciated. Please respond via 'mail'.
