At the request of several people, who seem to feel that they can make requests only through mail to me (WHY ME???) rather than to the net, I am asking for REPUTABLE information involving recent cave closings, gatings, or instances of destruction of the enterance(s). I would request that responses, which should be posted, contain the following: Cave Name: Reason given for closing: Event(s) prompting closing: The method used to effect closing: And any other related information. Please do not, as usual, include specific information such as names of individuals, location of entrances, name of owners, etc. ********ATTENTION******** I have neither the time nor the interest required to post items for others. If you wish to post an item to net.rec.caves, please do so. Please do NOT forward information to me for posting. This is NOT a digest. I am not the editor. I will accept no further requests unless they are of an unusual nature, and then begrudgingly at best. Hello! You folks out on the west coast! Post your items. Why ask me?
