For people in western Washington state, this is: Bellevue - Chris Gentry 641-6437 Seattle - Andrew Ford 523-6727 Vancouver - Patricia Siko(?) 693-3600 There is no grotto in Portland, Ore., but there is one in Oregon City (wherever that may be). Vancouver, WA might be close enough for Portland cavers. According to a 10 year old book, several Canadian groups are loosley affiliated with the NSS, and might be accessible through them. B.C. folks might also try contacting British Columbia Speleo-Research or the Vancouver Island Cave Exploration Group.
