I was just contacted by someone at Marquette University who is running
Eunice and wants to join USENET. I know somewhat about uucp and more
about netnews, but very little about Eunice. The guy at the other end is a
complete novice. They will be polling us, since we have no dialer.
Some questions:
Does USENET run ok over Eunice? Is there anything special I should know at
this end about setting up a connection, or does it look like a vanilla uucp
connection? Is there anything special I should tell the guy at the other end?
Will it cause any problems to use the site-name "marquette" [9 letters]?
We are running netnews 2.10 over 4.1 BSD.
