We have a copy of macsyma (304) from Symbolics that works under BSD4.2,
but not under 4.3. I have heard rumors that macsyma 309 works with 4.3
possibly with some modifications. I also beleive that if we could get
the source to 304 we could compile it and have it work under 4.3.
Does anybody out there in net land have a copy that works under 4.3.
If so where did you get it? What if anything did you have to do to
get it to work?
Presently the only place to get a copy of macsyma are:
Symbolics : no sources
National Energy Software Center: They supply sources but cost seems
to be high.
$3,000 for general license.
$2,000 + for license for vaxima
Does anybody have any further information ? Like if macsyma from
National Energy Software will compile and run under Eunice ?
