...
Then, we can DELETE net.wanted.sources, and let everybody post their
wants to net.sources along with the source-posters, and the comment-posters,
and commentators, etc..
/* End of text from uiucdcs:net.sources */

Though hardly worthy of a response, consider this:

=> On the one hand, sources-wanted requests in net.sources, and associated
flaming responses, do not take up much space compared to the volume of
actual sources so why bother to flame about them.

=> On the other hand, having such requests in net.wanted.sources makes them
a) easier to find, and b) easier to dispose of.

What is needed is for all those who now read net.sources to add
net.wanted.sources to their list. So right now, folks, you too can
find out what everyone is asking for...

I'm all for subdividing net.sources even further so that we can more
easily ignore certain classes of software/commentary/etc.

I always did feel that instead of net.wanted.sources, we should have
had net.sources.wanted. We have net.sources.bugs, why not
net.sources.wanted and net.sources.d and net.sources.bugs.d and
net.sources.wanted.flame and net.sources.bugs.fixes.wanted.d ...

P.S. <cringe> Sorry to post this in net.sources ...
