Reading net.news.group lends one to sense that we won't get net.sources.pc until sufficient pc source gets posted to net.sources and thus warrent a breakout into net.sources.pc Keep those cards and letters coming, but in the meantime, folks who have been clammoring for net.sources.pc should prove there is sufficient interest by posting public domain pc source to net.sources (and indicating it is pc, and what HW & SW assumptions are made). I WANT NET.SOURCES.PC!! ALL THE GOOD STUFF IS ON THE ARPANET. Why do we have to ask for this group for a month when net.rec.clown.bozo is formed whenever anyone wants. Tim Kelley, Math. Dept. , N.C. State U.

Yeah, I would like it too. But direct your request to net.news.group (or at least a copy of it there), and NOT to net.sources. One problem with this is that there has to be someone with access to those sources who would be willing to copy them onto the net from arpa. In the month or so of discussion, I have heard no one come forward to do that. Of course, we could still fill the group with our own offerings, can't we? Well, does anyone have anything to offer? -- Lyle McElhaney (hao,brl-bmd,nbires,csu-cs,scgvaxd)!denelcor!lmc

Expires: ``Most of the non-VAX sources are for PCs anyhow''? I suggest net.sources.vax instead; or do you VAXies think that you are the only ones in existence? --bsa (A 68000/Unix and Xenix user) -- Brandon Allbery, Unix Consultant -- 6504 Chestnut Road, Independence, OH 44131 decvax!cwruecmp!ncoast!bsa; ncoast!bsa@case.csnet; +1 216 524 1416; 74106,1032 ========================> Trekkies have Warped minds. <=======================
