Custom Software Systems sells a FULL implementation of UNIX VI called
PC/VI. I've posted this to the net before, but the information seems
to be worth repeating. PC/VI is about 99+% of UNIX VI, including all
the EX commands, regular expressions, showmatch, wrapmargin, word,
sentence, paragraph motions/changes/deletions, etc. The program is
VERY complete, VERY solid and as of about three months ago also has
an excellent manual.

I've recently received the Beta test version
of version 1.02 and they have added a couple of new features and
made enhancements, some visible, some not (interesting enough, they've
continously increased the programs capability with each revision and
have REDUCED the size of the .EXE file!).

Note that PC/VI does work with ANY MS-DOS system (PC compatible or not).
If you are using a PC, pick up a copy of FANSI-CONSOLE (shareware, $25)
CSS can provide you with a copy for the same price. FC increases
your type-ahead buffer and provides many additional escape sequences
which result in markedly increased PC/VI *AND* DOS console performance.

There is another version of VI by MANX called Z, however, this program
only permits editing files < 60KB, does not have the full EX command
set, etc, etc.

Also note, CSS has a new address and phone:
	Custom Software Systems
	PO Box 678
	Natick, MA 01760
	617-653-2555
	617-842-1712 (old number)
I've had my best luck trying to get ahold of them before 9am and
after 7pm. They do have an answering machine and have always returned
my phone calls.

Price: $149 qty 1, $75 for each additional site.
