I think that this mailing list should be reserved for anouncments such
as match results, availability of various programs, documentation and
so forth.  It should not be used for reporting bugs (e.g., castling,
announcing check).  Bugs should be reported to the respective program
maintainers.

I found the castling discussion to be interesting.  What bored me was receiving
2M. of chess moves (did anybody actually read all those?).  I think the moral
may be that a little tolerence goes a long way, especially since this is not a very
high traffic list.  After all, castling certainly pertains to chess.
