Has anyone heard of a chess variation in which it is illegal for the kings to face each other across an open board? A few years back I was playing with a friend of mine from Viet Nam. This situation occured and he was annoyed that I had never heard of it. Reading Mr. Wrights discussions about the history of castelling(sp) made me think of this strange move.
