Did anyone see "The Swarm" on Tuesday night? Was the plot really that bad, or had it been hacked up for tv? It seemed to go very smoothly at times, and all of a sudden the plot would seem to jerk. I have the feeling it was a 2 1/2 or 3 hour movie that was compressed into 2 hours minus commercials. Disappointedly, Rick Lindsley richl@tektronix ...!tektronix!richl

Ah yes...."The Swarm"....a contender (if not the winner) of the "Golden Turkey Awards" category: The Most Badly Bumbled Bee Movie of All Time!

More Swarm trivia: I heard Roger Ebert mention on his radio show that the costume designer for the swarm was nominated last year for an Oscar. Ebert got a laugh out of this, as he probably just ordered everything from a bee-keeper's supply house. Bob Schleicher ihuxk!rs55611
