Ok, I think the tourney is ready to go. It will be a four round swiss, this is a list of the people who said they would like to play. I got names 11 and 12 through other people so I do not know for sure if they want to play. For this reason I paired them together in the first round. Everyone else was arranged in alphabetical order and paired accordingly. Please let me know if your address is not right or is imcomplete. 1. Charles Ditzel cornell!uw-beaver!ssc-vax!ditzel 2. Brian Finnerty cornell!tesla!finn 3. Mathew Lecin harpo!seismo!hao!hplabs!sri-unix!LECIN 4. Tom Libert cornell!mcnc!burl!sb1!mb2c!uofm-cv!tom 5. Rich Lindsley ucbvax!teklabs!tektronix!richl 6. I this we should all try to follow them, if anyone has major complaints/ changes, let me know. first - give the entire score (this prevents different scores by the players); second - hilite your most current move (the one you are making) third - give some if-thens. (This will speed up the game). fourth - algebraic notation and descriptive (USCF actively advocates the international algebraic standard), the player that makes the first move decides which one (or it can be agreed if one player does not know the notation). For example: ******************************************************************************* WHITE,JOHN BLACK,JIM 1.e4 c5 11. 21. 31. 2.Nf3 d6 12. 22. 32. 3.d4 cd4: 13. 23. 33. 4.Nd4: Nf6 14. 24. 34. 5.Nc3 **e6** 15. 25. 35. 6. 16. 26. 36. 7. 17. 27. 37. 8. 18. 28. 38. 9. 19. 29. 39. 10. 20. 30. 40.
