1. Captain Jack McCarthy and Officer Joe Bolton introduced Popeye and Dick Tracy/Three Stooges respectively. Officer Joe always warned you not to do what Moe, Larry, and Curly did, because it was dangerous. Moe once appeared on his show. 2. Sonny Fox (or Funny Socks) hosted Wonderama. Sandy Becker hosted the Sandy Becker show with Norton Nork. 3. Didn't "Planet Patrol" have as its theme the 1962 song "Telstar" by the Tornadoes?? The theme from Fireball XL-5 was the first song I ever picked out by ear on the piano. My piano teacher was impressed. 4. And now, theme songs... "Call Tobor... the EIGHT man...
