[net.tv] opinions needed on tv set

I am in the market to buy a color tv. I used to own a 19"
Sony which turned out to be a baloney. In 5 years I spent about
$150 on repairs and finally the picture tube gave out and the
TV had to be junked.
Recently I looked at Mitsubishi/MGA. It is pretty expensive.
19" $619, 21" $759 and 25" is $859. Does any one have any suggestions
regarding not too expensive but good set. I have read consumer reports
on console TVs. It rate all to reasonably good but I find it hard to
believe. I need cable ready with remote.
Does any one have any experience with sylvania or mitsubishi.
	Thanks in advance.

I have bought one 17" MGA and two 19" ones during the last few years. (The 17"
for me and the 19's as gifts). They have cable ready and remote. I have
nothing but praise for these products. The 19" ones have a built-in
FM radio of surprising good quality that can be used for simulcasts and
so forth.

My sister owned an MGA purchased about 1970 which gave a beautiful picture
for 12 years with no problems. Then it went to black and white and
the repair was estimated at $75, so she replaced it.

Highest recommendations.

We've had a Mitsubishi MGA 17" (?) for four years, and it has worked so
reliably I've never thought twice about it. Had to double-check what
kind it was!
