Ah, yes... tripping down memory lane. You folks out there talking about Fireball XL-5, Supercar etc. have brought back my fond memories of television addiction. I need another fix quick! How about this: The names of the male and female (if I may put it this way) marionette stars of Fireball XL-5 are Steve and Venus. The name of the chimp on Supercar is Mitch. Wow, how I love jogging my memory! Now to get to the meat of this message...... REMEMBER THE OLD TV WESTERNS? Wanted Dead or Alive, starring Steve McQueen Tombstone Territory, starring ? as Clay Hollister Bat Masterson, starring Gene Barry as Bat Wyatt Earp, starring Hugh O'Brien I'm hot now! Fury, starring Peter graves as Jim and ? as Pete (the old guy-cook) and ? as the kid. Laramie, starring Robert Fuller as Jess Harper and John Smith as Slim The Tall Men, starring Barry Sullivan as sherrif Pat Garret and Clu Gulliger as Billy the Kid The Rifleman, starring Chuck Conners as Lucas McKay and Johnny Crawford as Mark.... Pa, Pa Have Gun Will Travel, starring Richard Boone as Wire Palladine (note- he had a first name) Rawhide, starring Clint Eastwood as Rowdy Yates and ? Wagon Train, starring Ward Bond as the wagonmaster and Robert Horton as Flint McCulloch My Friend Flicka, starring ? Shennandoah starring (I almost lost my memory) Robert Horton The Outcasts, starring Don Murray(sic) and ? "We're not friends, we just ride together!" I can't believe I'm remembering all of these shows! Help me with this title, starring Walter Brennan after Real McCoys, as the fastest gun in the West. "My grandson's the third fastest gun in the West, my son is the second, and I'm first... no brag, just fact!" I love it, I love it I could go on and on, but I'll let someone else have some fun pulling things out of those crevices in the brain. Please complete the list and/or add to it. And then there was Cannonball, the first trucking show about the time Highway Patrol was on with Broderick Crawford. Memories, memories.......

I just thought of another favorite old TV western, Kit Carson (how could I forget). It starred Bill Williams (father to Robin Williams of Mork fame). Now that shows really takes us back to the early or middle 50's. Kit Kimes Western Electric Co. Montgomery Works Aurora, Il. 60507 ..!ihnp4!we13!mgweed!kek
