The Spiderman Jingle submitted by SJBerry was perfect but for two errors. First, the word "flash" in the third stanza should be "streak". Second, the last stanza is not a repetition of the first one, but goes like this: Spiderman, Spiderman, Friendly neighborhood Spiderman. Welcomes friends, he's ignored, Action is his reward. To him, life is a great big bang-up; Wherever there's a hang-up, You'll find the Spiderman!!! "Spiderman" may be seen in the NYC area on WNEW-TV channel 5, 7am weekdays. (Certainly a decent alternative to "The Today Show".) Andy Siegel & Robert Perlberg philabs!rdin!{abs|perl}

I believe the line "Welcomes friends, he's ignored" should be "Wealth and fame? He's ignored!" or possibly "Wealth and fame, he's ignored", either of which makes more sense with the following line, "Action is his reward." However, knowing Peter Parker, the first of these two versions is probably the correct one. By the way, if you check the credits of the old Spiderman show you'll note the name of Ralph (Wizards, The Lord of the Rings) Bakshi in there. Anybody know what he's doing now? -- David D.
