[net.tv] Even more old TV

lauren@vortex.UUCP (Lauren Weinstein) (08/27/83)

By the way, if someone will remind me shortly before the next Usenix
(or whatever they decide to call it this year) I'll try to bring along
a copy of my TV theme tape and also a tape of the goings on at my Jay Ward
Film Festival (where both June Foray and Bill Scott [90% of the voices
on the shows and the guiding forces] were very special guests).

This is all dependent on my getting out to the next
conference, of course.

As long we're covering old theme intros, how about the one for those
of you with mutated little fingers? I mean, of course:

The Invaders.
Alien beings from a dying planet.
Their destination: the Earth.
Their purpose: to make it *their* world.

David Vincent has seen them.
For him, it began late one night on a lonely country road,
Looking for a shortcut, that he never found.
It began with a dark, deserted diner,
and a man too long without sleep to continue his journey.
It began with the landing of a craft from another galaxy.

Now, David Vincent knows that the Invaders are here,
That they have taken human form.
Somehow he must convince a disbelieving world,
That the nighmare has already begun.
