Oh yeah, I forgot to mention "Underdog"! The full lyrics to the cartoon intro has appeared in the past in SF-L, I won't reproduce them here. The main theme was spoken: --- Look! Up in the air! It's a bird! It's a plane! It's a frog! A frog??? Not bird nor plane nor even frog ... it's just little old me ... UNDERDOG! Narrator: One of the city's most humble and lovable characters, was "shoeshine boy". Shoeshine: (finishing shoeshine): All finished, sir. Man: (tossing him a coin): Thanks, shoeshine boy. You're humble and lovable. Shoesine: (testing coin with teeth): Bless you, sir. Narrator: Little did anyone know that whenever there was a call for help... Woman: Help! Help, help! Narrator: Shoeshine boy became in real life ... UNDERDOG! --- The voice of Underdog was of course Wally Cox. The main characters in the program included Underdog himself, the evil Simon Bar Sinister, and the TV reporter Miss Polly Purebred. --Lauren--
