I used to watch The New Avengers when it was on the CBS Late Movie. I remember the three characters -- John Steed Purdy (I could watch that woman for HOURS...) Mike Gambit I don't know Purdy's other name -- does anyone? Mark Paulin ...tektronix!tekmdp!markp

I think the funnyest thing I ever saw on tv was the epesode of The New Avengers were Purdy gets locked out of her apartment in her pajamas. The most Archtypal (2nd most funny thing on TV) was in Faulty Towers when Basil's car keeps breaking down and he finnaly gets a branch off a tree and starts beating it screaming "I warned you!". Just when you thought it was safe to talk about The New Avengers.... floyd!clyde!crc
