I'm looking for a 25" color console TV for my living room. Features I'm interested in include: remote control with hidden keypad tuner on console (we have a 20-month-old), cable-ready (112 channels), contemporary styling, swivel base, and, of course, good picture quality and superior reliabilty. Don't want to spend over $900, considering there are a wide range of discounts/sales available from a good number of appliance stores in the Indianapolis area. Audio outputs (monitor-type jacks) are of much lesser priority. Any comments mailed to me would be appreciated. Oh yeah, I did read the January 1983 issue of Consumer Reports which rated a Montgomery Wards model tops. An RCA Colortrak 2000 model led the rest of the pack. Phil Fair, AT&T Consumer Products

Therefore they include such features as vertical interval reference (allows the broadcaster to send a reference color signal so your set knows exactly what a red, blue and green signal should look like), US made picture tube (japanese law dictates the chemical composition of picture tube phosphors, so they tend to be dimmer than the unregulated US manufacturers). Not to mention that MW sets are CHEAP!!! Steve Fintel ...trsvax!jsf007
