Well, let's hear it. What did everyone think about
	After M*A*S*H ? Think it'll last ??

I enjoyed the first episode of "After MASH". It could continue to be just
as popular as "MASH". I didn't like the fact that some very weird type
of characters were introduced for what seems like no other purpose than to
be the butt of several jokes and to add some personal conflicts.

"After M*A*S*H" will probably last, but don't ask me why. It seemed
to be very contrived (standard devoted doctors vs. mean old administators
plot (we see this on every medical show)) with very little of the sense of
urgency which helped "M*A*S*H" survive. Even the scene in which the Korean
vet invaded the Potter's home seemed dull and lifeless. However, I think it
will probably last a season or two, given the name.

I dunno how good it was. I couldn't hear it for the bleeping laugh track.

After M*A*S*H seemed like two seperate shows to me. Anyone agree?
The first half was quite boring and slow moving. Just getting you
cuaght up on what had happened to Col Potter. When Klinger was
(re)introduced it picked up a little, but not much. It wasn't
until they got to Father Mulchayhe(?) that it picked up and got
interesting. Telling what happened to him since the war in the
context of whta was currently happening, and having the other two
characters take part in the scenes lift the show of it's floundering
rear.

Some of the humor was a bit dry, but overall the show probably deserves
to be seen some more before we extoll or bury it. Some of the shows
will probably deal with age (Potter), inter-cultural maraige (especially
of someone from the "enemy side")(Klinger), etc.

Anybody have any opinions of the young secretary in Alma Cox's office.
Do you get the feeling that she will try to seduce/make some moves on
Max? Only time will tell.
