Okay, I know a lot of people don't like the show, but I will admit I watch
it on a regular basis (at LEAST once a season, last year I watched "The Dog
Show". I do have a question to ask and I figured that the net was the best
place to ask.

While watching the Emmys I noticed that there while there are good shows that
get cancelled (Taxi "Why do you keep giving us awards, doesn't anybody know
we're cancelled), and some shows that have no socially redeeming value what-
soever that stay on for years. Has Happy Days even been nominated for an
Emmy in the past five years; has Three's Company EVER been nominated for
anything.

Anyway, this got me to wondering about "The Love Boat" (which did get
nominated in some comedy category for "The Dog Show", but that's the only
nomination for anything I can remember in the past ?? years) ... which leads
to the purpose of this note ... which is to ask the question . . .

*** How long has "The Love Boat" been on television ??? ***

Thanks in advance for your answers.

The Love Boat has been on since '76, I believe. To my knowledge it has
never been nominated for an Emmy.
