Does anyone remember those wonderful old cartoons where you had to "follow the bouncing ball" and sing along? Songs like "Alexander's Ragtime Band", "My Darling Clementine", and "Little Brown Jug" were among my favorites. Are they shown at any obscure times anymore? They are soooooo much better than watching PacMan or Rubiks Cube cartoons!!! Living for the Past, John Barrett AT&T-ISL Lincroft, NJ

b Didn't the *follow the bouncing ball* come from "sing along with mitch" ? Mitch Miller, that is. Maybe most of you aren't old enough? Mark Mallett decvax!sii!mem

If you watch cartoons on your local independent station, they are likely to be shown during "Casper" or "Herman and Katnip". I think they were part of "A Marvel Madcap" but I'm not sure. There may also be some Loony Tunes that follow the bouncing ball. --greg arpa: gds%mit-eddie@mit-mc uucp: decvax!genrad!mit-eddie!gds
