[net.tv] Good Answer!! Good Answer!!

Last night on Family Feud, there was an incredibly bad answer.
The question was "Name a Communist country." Russia was #1,
China #2. The question got down to the #5 person in the family,
a man about 27 or so. His answer was -

		GREAT BRITAIN

Well, Dawson laughed, as did the rest of the audience.
Suprise, surprise, it didn`t make the survey.

Later, in fast money, the second person gave a great
answer to the question "Name a vegetable that is battered"
She came up with the brilliant answer - FISH! She got 0
points, and ended up missing the 200 points for $10,000
by 2 points!

On still another show, the fast money question "Name an animal
with 3 letters in its name" was answered by

			ALLIGATOR

Which brings me to my final submission for stupidity on Family Feud.
On a different night, the question was "Name a famous Rudolph".
Valentino was one, Nuryev another, the red-nosed reindeer a third.
But the family couldn`t come up with another and got 3 strikes.
The question came over to the other team, who gave the answer-

		RUDOLPH HITLER

Buuuuuuuuuuuuuuuzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

And if that`s not enough, here`s one from Password. McLean
Stevenson was trying to get a black guy to say "deer" as in
the red-nosed one mentioned above. He gave the clue word "DOE".
The black man responed with

			KNOB
(It`s true, really).

How dumb can some people be???

And now, for $25,000, name four famous Mickies:

	Mickey Roonie
	Mickey Mouse
	Mickey Mantle
	Mickey Way

Name a small sea animal:

	Shrimp Cocktail!!!!

(compliments of National Lampoon "That's not Funny, That's Sick!")

Second City Television (SCTV) did a take off of the show, and I recall a few
of the questions and answers. Here everyone was equally silly...

Host:	Name a type of food from Italy.

Contestant 1:	Swedish Meatballs?

Host: Swedish meatballs! Where the heck do you think Swedish
		meatballs come from?

Contestant 2:	(buzzes) Spain?

I loved it!

Last night Family Feud had another "good" answer
to a question. It was one of the questions when the family
was going for the money. Both people gave "good" answers.

question: Name a gear in a standard transmission.

first person: steering wheel

second person: 4-speed

They missed the money by 10 points.

Here's a scary one from "Family Feud" (which I NEVER watch) last week:

"Name something you should carry in case of an emergency"
(or something like that...)

The number four answer was "A gun"!

Still can't believe this actually
happened but a friend actually
saw this:

On the Newlyweds game, the question
was "In your neighborhood, what direction
does the sun come up from - North, South,
East, or West?"

Believe it or not there were lots of
wrong answers and the one
poor guy who answered East was blasted by:
"no, stupid , he said in **our** neighborhood!"

Enjoy.
