I missed the "beans" scene (got home too late), but here are some examples of CBS censoring technique: "Lili von Schtupp" became "Lili von Sch...". (though the poster on the saloon had the full name) "Just a little feel" became "Just a little". "Is it twue what they say about you people? ... It's twue! It's twue!" became "Is it twue what they say?" But this line remained intact: "Well, we'll let the niggers and the chinks stay, but we don't want the Irish." Says a lot about the values of a Moral Majority that would determine what words get said on television. "Young Frankenstein" did not fare much better. For example, Madeline Kahn failed to say thank you after the compliment about the knockers (on the door, that is). Rich

In "Young Frankenstein", it was not Madeleine Kahn to whom the "knockers" compliment was directed. Allen England at AT&T Bell Laboratories, Naperville, IL ihnp4!ihuxb!alle

In young Frankenstein it was Teri Garr who had the knockers!
