Just finished reading an article in the local (seattle) paper about the
Tilburg international tournament. Karpov as well as a number of highly
rated players will participate. The central focus of the article was
Yasser Seirawan, a seattle chess player who has gone on to become
rated 11th in the world (up from 17th last year). The article mentioned
that Yasser had two draws and one win over Karpov...however I believe
Karpov has also one a game from the Yaz recently. In any case the
tournament is starting today...any further news on results would be
appreciated.
