Does anybody keep track of all the episodes? I know almost all of them,
except a few that I might have missed. If any of you know all of them,
or know where I can find out all the names, don't hesitate to reply.

oh the pain the pain the pain ...

If you must give us Lost in Space trivia, please get it right.
Dr. Smith did come into the Jupiter 2 when the countdown was at
1hour and 14 minutes and HOLDING. He was hiding in the "store away couch",
NOT naping. He did his work on the robot and left. At approx. 0-5 min.
he came back in with the lauch crew (who turned off the Robot) and after
the launch crew left, he had to turn the thing on again. He took a little too
long in doing this and as a result, missed the closing of the hatch.
You were right about Dr. Smith blasting open the freezing tube that West
was in, but that was very soon after the launch (at about the time that they
went through the meteor storm caused by Smith's added weight).

Finally, the robots orders were destroy the ship 8 hours after launch.
He didn't quite do it, but it was close.

RE: JBB's account of Dr. Smith's presence:

How could anyone's added weight cause a meteor storm???

Mysterious gravitational fields must permeate the space between here and
Alpha Centauri!

Re-read the original article. The added weight of Dr. Smith
caused the Jupiter II to be off course and resulted in it
encountering the meteor storm.

gds@mit-eddie.UUCP (Greg Skinner) (11/18/83)

Dr. Smith's added weight did not cause the meteor storm. It caused the
Jupiter II to drift off course into a meteor storm. It was later
revealed that if Dr. Smith hadn't been on the ship, the Jupiter would
have crashed into an uncharted asteroid and killed its passengers.
(This was in the episode Time Merchant.)
