Five people guessed the correct answer to the question: Who appeared in a single episode of Barney Miller, and later went on to become a series regular? The answer was Steve Landesburg. He played a phony priest who Wojo arrested trying to sell bibles stolen from hotel rooms. Of course, Steve Landesburg went on to become Arthur Dietrich, a series regular.
