According to my C-MU Alumni Newsletter which ran a big story on HSB:

1)  HSB is based on "The Hill District" of Pittsburgh.

2)  HSB is shot in LA while being carefull not to get any pictures of palm
	trees or such that would ruin the efforts to keep HSB in a "generic"
	or "any city" mode.
