The other day on the "Most Embarassing Moments" there was a section about a lady named "Alvira" (sp?) who does some between movie schtec. Looks like the typical Saturday Afternoon Horror show stuff. Besides her costume, what caught my eye was that she also had a small part in the Burt Renolds movie "Stroker Ace" (playing on cable this month). [She also reminds me of the wife in "Addams Family" - there are obvious differences tho!] Can anybody in net-land tell me anything about her show? -- Larry Marek ihnp4!ihuxf!larry

This syndicated show is produced in L.A. It is broadcast here in
Portland on KPDX (Channel 49) on Saturdays at 11:30 under the title
of "Movie Macbre".
The hostess of the show is Cassandra Peterson, alias Elvira. She
usually opens the show by walking into the set wearing a *very*
low-cut black gown with slits up the sides (and she's got just the
type of figure to do that sort of thing). She does most of her
monologue while laying on a red couch. Great sex appeal.
