In the middle of SUPERMAN II, SUPERMAN had this touching conversation with his mother, who told him that by marrying Lois, he would lose his super powers forever. I distinctly remember hearing the words "FOREVER". It seems like he had little trouble getting his power back when he needed it... How did he do it ??? Send replied by Mail, or Post...

Remember when Superman showed Lois the crystal shard that created the
Fortress? Remember that she dropped it? Well, when Clark came back to
the Fortress and found the ruins, he looked on the ground and saw the
shard. It was still pulsating, which probably meant that it had enough
power to make him Superman again.
