While we're on the subject of HSB, I hope someone can answer a question that has been puzzling me for a long time. Why, at the beginning of the show , when the actors are all shown, do Charles Haid (Renko) and Veronica Hamel (Joyce Davenport) have their characters' names indicated? I only started watching the show a year ago, and assumed that they had just joined the cast that season, but they are still distinguished this way in the opening sequence of this season. Why? Carl D. Those intros have been the same ever since the show started. The reason Charles Haid is identified is maybe because he had already made a spot for himself in the field of movies, TV, etc. Why they noted Veronica Hamel's character, I don't know. I knew she was a model before this show, but that's about all. All of the others (except the late Michael Conrad) were new faces in the crowd and couldn't pull enough weight to get a special intro. Veronica Hamil did also do some acting before HSB. The other day I saw her on a rerun of the 1975(?) "Family" series. Also, Charles Haid played a doctor in the movie "Altered States". -- Walt
