Many thanks to those who pointed me to the source for the theme music for "Market to Market". It was the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, and it turned out I had the album. The song is "Buy For Me The Rain", written by S. Noonan and G. Copeland, Nina Music. It is on what I think is the Dirt Band's first album, titled just THE NITTY GRITTY DIRT BAND, Liberty LRP-3501 (mono) or LST-7501 (stereo). No date anywhere on the album or disc. It's also on at least one other Dirt Band album. Regards, Will

Some libraries have good collections of sheet music. Central library, Copley Square has their nifty catalog to such a collection. Telephone their music department at 536-5400 (617). Send for a little leaflet describing library resources in music.
