+ All My Children 4/17 Greg's first picture was published on the front page of the Bulletin - the picture of Karen/Jesse dancing on opening night at the Steam Pit! Naturally, Angie isn't too happy about this. Karen comes into the diner (Angie/Jesse/Greg/Jenny are eating after the Christening) and she is so excited that she kisses Jesse. Angie reads her the riot act and tells her to stay away from Jesse. Cliff is reluctant to take up Nina on her suggestion of marriage. While he thinks about it, he goes to the hospital to clean out his office. Joe and Ruth come into to say farewell. After Cliff leaves, Ruth realizes that Joe voted for Cliff's suspension (Joe certainly fits the part of a New England puritanical background). Ruth is angry with Joe. Cliff returns home and pops the question to Nina! Brooke goes to the jail and interviews Chris. She wants his life story. She asks to read some of his poetry. He says he will think about it. Linda tells Nina that she is afraid to testify against Chris. Bonnie thinks she has an invisible friend - whose name is Willy. Ellen tells Devon not to worry. Ellen discusses with Devon her reluctance to continue working for Adam since he treats her like a flunky. Meanwhile, Adam thinks that there is a secret way out of the West Wing and he wants it found. Ross asks him to apologize to Ellen and he refuses. Joanna takes some info to Palmer and then tells him she is sure she remembers him from somewhere - maybe West Virginia. After she leaves, Palmer decides to find out more about the Chandlers. When Joanna tells Adam what she said to Palmer, he is furious. He is afraid that his connections to Lottie/Pigeon Hollow will come out. Ellen comes over to the Chandlers later to talk to Ross. Devon shows up with Bonnie who is very upset. Adam drops in and says to Ellen "Sorry about last night." Meanwhile Bonnie/Willy wander off into the mansion. While in Adam's bedroom, she discovers a catch by the fireplace which opens up a secret passage behind the bookcase.
