+ All My Children - May 7 Adam gives Erica a gold and ruby necklace that belonged to his mother. This infuriates Joanna who believes that his mother wanted her to have it. Erica goes to the Goal Post to talk to Tom (Joanna follows her). Erica overhears Candy talking to Tom about how she feels about him. Erica assumes that Tom is still longing for her and that he has turned to prostitutes as a result. She tells Tom that she didn't invite him because he might spill the beans about the night they slept together. Joanna overhears part of the conversation. She comes in as Tom leaves and tells Erica she wants the necklace back. Erica refuses. Joanna tells Erica that she can't be fired. Prior to leaving for the party with Erica, Adam tells Ross that he had a bomb planted in the Steam Pit. Ross is very angry. At the party, Mona tells Erica that Mike is trying to get in touch with her. Mike calls the Chandler house and talks to Joanna who tells him to "drop in" at the Chateau. Tad asks Langley to put in a good word for him with Hillary. Since, Phoebe is ill, Langley is taking Hillary to Erica's party. Later, Tad tells Dottie that he can't take her to the party as he has to work. Edna offers to call Donna for him, and he decides that he can get out of it. Edna later talks to Donna and finds out that Tad didn't have to work. At the party, Tad fantasizes about Hillary while dancing with Dottie. Alfred, who has just polished off half a bottle of scotch, shows up at the party and asks Hillary to dance. Jesse is in a bad temper. He explodes at Greg over Greg taking pictures of the basement for the Bulletin. Murray comes in and he is angry because the police interrogated him. Jesse tells him to get out and stay out. Angie and Jesse fight over his fiery temper. The Judge pronounces sentence on Chris. He has to serve weekends in jail for 6 months. The judge let him off because the Bulletin agreed to hire him.
