The big fat guy that plays the father, I seem to remember him from way back in my youth when I would watch Profesional Wrestling on Saturday afternoons. Seems like he called himself "Captain Louis Albano" or something like that. Am I right, or is it just a look alike. Does anyone even care? C. D. Elliott AT&T Technologies !ctvax!uokvax!cdelliot

The fat man is indeed Captain Lou Albano of professional wrestling fame.

<Eat this, line eater!> Captain Luis Albamo (I think that's how it's spelled) does play Cyndi's father in the video. The woman who plays her mother is really her mother! Scott Barman ..!akgua!ganehd!mp

#R:uokvax:6000010:uiucdcs:19200026:000:359 uiucdcs!kaufman Mar 19 10:42:00 1984 Yes! It is the same One and Only Captain Lou Albano. He and Cyndi were recently seeing each other for some time as she mentioned last month on Late Night With David Letterman. And the Captain is still up to his old wrestling tricks - right down to the rubber bands in his beard. Ken Kaufman (uiucdcs!kaufman)

Yes, sure enough, Captain Lou Albano, currently a professional wrestling manager, is Cyndi Lauper's spiritual mentor. Eric Carter AT&T-IS S.Plainfield,NJ {akgua,allegra,ihnp4,whuxle,mhuxl}!abnjh!cbspt005
