[net.tv] Lost in Space vs. V

Remember -- "V" thought it was legit SF and was simply crap. LiS *knew*
it was satirical and didn't try to be too serious (after the first few
episodes, anyway). LiS also had some very advanced concepts for TV
of the time. In an episode that reran here in L.A. last night (one that
I haven't seen in almost 20 years) Penny falls through a trans-dimensional
portal (which appears to be a mirror) into another continuum where
the "back" of all mirrors in the universe can be viewed. You can look
through the mirrors to anywhere. Unfortunately, you can't leave, either.

One final thing, Robbie the Robot NEVER yelled "Danger, Danger!" The
LiS robot did that, and it was a completely different robot from
Robbie. However, Robbie *did* make a couple of guest appearances
on LiS -- in the "Space Prison" episode, for example.
