I have no proof, but I am almost positive, from just listening, that the theme from SaMK must have been written by the same person who did "Lost in Space". Can any one verify or unverify this supposition? Glenn.

The theme to "The Scarecrow and Mrs. King" doesn't sound like Lost in Space to me. However, I'm glad you brought it up. If CBS doesn't ruin this show by having the Scarecrow and Mrs. King fall into a romance, or having them go off and do incredible spy missions (on the order of James Bond or Luke and Laura) the show could acutally become winning and stay on for a few years. Unlike some other shows that have bitten the dust (Two Marriages, sadly) TSaMK has a fairly young youth cast (Amanda King's two boys) and the characters of Lee and Amanda haven't yet been fully explored (ie. Amanda's boyfriend, Lee's attachments etc.). Youth in TV shows has always been a plus, because the show is able to retain a certain consistency over the years as the kids grow up. I fear for "Family Ties", which is currently enjoying some success, but what's going to happend to the show when Alex goes to college? -- [This space available for rent.] Greg Skinner (White Gold Wielder) {decvax!genrad, eagle!mit-vax, whuxle, ihnp4}!mit-eddie!gds And he who wields white wild magic gold is a paradox ...

According to recent discussions in net.movies the composer of the music for LiS was Johnny Williams, now better known as John Williams composer of the Star Wars theme etc. -- From the TARDIS of Mark Callow msc@qubix.UUCP, decwrl!qubix!msc@Berkeley.ARPA ...{decvax,ucbvax,ihnp4}!decwrl!qubix!msc, ...{ittvax,amd70}!qubix!msc "I'm a citizen of the Universe, and a gentleman to boot!"
