[net.tv] Quote of the week

john@hp-pcd.UUCP (06/26/84)

Our quote of the week comes from Peter Farrell writing a column on the new
show " People do the craziest things"

If (Alan) Landsburg,Aaron Spelling and Glen A. Larson had gone
into selling mutual funds instead of producing for television,
   we might not need PBS.

And don't forget the man who "created" Happy Days and Laverne and Shirley
(I think it was Gary Marshall(sp?))

But let's not jump too hard on Gary Marshall: he was a scriptwriter
on the old Dick Van Dyke show, so he's earned his rewards -- you can always
just not watch the stuff you don't like that he did.

I second that! And don't forget Fred Silverman!
