After I saw Dennis Gibbs' posting, I said to myself, "Nah, that isn't Terri
Garr, is it?" In the time between then and now, when I read Ken Fishkin's post-
ing making the same identification, I have seen the video three times. That is
definitely *not* Terri Garr!!! I'm not *positive* who it is, but my original
guess, which I stick by now, is that it's Christie Brinkley.

bip.

Terri Garr is the very last person to appear in the video,
and a lot of stations cut it before she comes on. But she is
    there, honest.

No, it's Teri Garr. And the last walk-on in the video is the second appearance of Chevy Chase flipping a lighted cigarette in his mouth.

Well, I got a few mail messages with respect to my posting about Teri Garr not
being in the "Ghostbusters" video, most of them saying, when all is said and
done, that I was full of what makes the grass grow. So, Wednesday morning, I set
the Betamax to tape five hours worth of MTV whilst I slept the sleep of the con-
fident. Hah! I'll show those bastards! I arose in the late afternoon, and having
caught my fix of YOU CAN'T DO THAT ON TELEVISION (on Nickelodeon), I zipped
through approximately three and a half hours of the tape, until I hit "Ghost-
busters". When I got to the controversial sequence, I watched it about three
times, the whole while saying, "Naaahhhh. Doesn't look like Teri Garr to me."
Then, to be sure, I went through it again, frame by frame. Jaw drops to the
floor (Thud!). "Nahhh [a little less confidently], can't be! But it is! It *is*
Teri Garr!" And so, here I sit, with egg on my face. I can only say, and truth-
fully, too, that seen at normal speed, it *still* doesn't look like her! You
guys have sharper eyes than I.

<God, I'm so embarrassed>

<Who you gonna call?>

You're all wrong! The girl in the video is Teri Garr.

By the way, I missed the original list. Could someone send it
to me or repost it?

Thanks.

I submitted this a couple of days ago, but it didn't seem to get to any of the
newsgroups it was posted to, so I'm going to try again. If any of you are see-
ing for a second time, I apologize.

What we have here is one of your basic misunderstandings. Teri
Garr is the last cameo (not counting Chevy's encore). People
who have seen her have been trying to tell you she is in it.
The 4th cameo is Mellissa Gilbert, who everybody seems to think
is the person everybody else seems to think is Teri Garr and
has caused a lot of flaming. Here, according to Casey Kasem,
is the cameo list which I have sorted in order of appearance.

 1 Chevy Chase
 2 Irene Cara
 3 John Candy
 4 Mellissa Gilbert
5 Ollie Brown (of Ollie & Jerry)
 6 ?
 7 George Wendt
 8 Al Franken
 9 Danny DeVito
10 Carly Simon
11 Peter Falk
12 Teri Garr
