Fans of "Ghostbusters" (both the film and the video) should be sure to catch the 1937 Disney cartoon "Lonesome Ghosts." It features Mickey, Goofy, and Donald as a trio of "ghost exterminators" who receive a call to "clean out" a haunted house. Sound familiar? Well, wait 'till ya' see Goofy look straight at the audience and say, "I ain't 'fraid of no ghosts!" Nothing ever dies here in tinsel town. --Lauren--

Actually, I'm suprised I haven't seen it mentioned (in .movies, I don't read .tv) that there was a short-lived Saturday-morning show called Ghostbusters. It was pretty silly. There were two dudes and a gorilla that went around dealing with ghosts. (Spencer, Tracy, and Kong, but the gorilla wasn't named Kong). This was at least 6-7 years ago, maybe as much as 10 (it's just in my very dim memories). -- Randwulf (Randy Haskins); Path= genrad!mit-eddie!rh

Ghostbusters was on about 10 years ago and starred those two old F-Troop favorites: Forrest Tucker and Larry Storch. Actually, I kind of enjoyed the show. Sure was a lot better than what's on Saturday a.m. now. They went around disposing of famous old ghosts (e.g. Napoleon, Dracula, and the like). ...bob garmise...at&t bell labs, columbus...

[Project Athena: MIT's very own Greek tragedy] I remember that show also. It starred Forrest Tucker and Larry Storch (from another great old show, F-Troop). I believe that Tucker had the honor of being named Kong. Warren J. Madden "If God had intended man to go to MIT, he would have given him bodily functions such as sine, tan, and ln x"
